For housing officers, social workers and NHS teams

How It Works

A clear, predictable process from first referral to completion — designed around the needs of professional referrers.

We primarily work through professional referral from councils, housing associations, NHS teams, and other organisations. We also offer a separate Private Client Service for individuals and families — arranged directly with our director. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you contact us to the point your case is closed.

01

You make a referral

Use our referral form or call us directly. We need the client's postcode, a brief description of the situation, and your contact details. You do not need a full assessment at this stage — a brief overview is enough for us to advise on next steps.

We respond to all referrals within one working day. For urgent safeguarding cases, call us directly on 07563 022867.

02

Initial assessment visit

We attend the property for a no-obligation assessment. Where possible we ask that the referring professional is present or available by phone. We assess the volume and nature of the hoarding, any immediate risks, and the client's readiness to engage.

We never pressure clients during the assessment visit. If the client is not ready, we report back to you honestly and suggest next steps.

03

Plan and quote

Following the assessment we provide a recommended approach, a proposed timeline, and a fixed quote. We keep this straightforward and jargon-free.

We can tailor our approach to your organisation's requirements on request.

04

Clearance and support sessions

Once agreed, we begin work. This is typically weekly therapeutic declutter sessions alongside the client, carried out at a pace the client is comfortable with. We keep you updated at each stage and flag any concerns promptly.

All work is carried out by DBS-checked staff in plain clothes and unmarked vehicles. We coordinate with other agencies involved in the case as needed.

05

Completion

Once the work is complete we provide a written completion summary. This can be used to support tenancy reviews, care plans, or discharge planning. We are available for follow-up visits where ongoing support is needed.

We can provide photographic evidence of before and after conditions on request, subject to client consent.
